This session analyses the strategic role of innovation and technology as engines that drive the construction of new sustainable mobility models. That is, analyses the limits and potentialities to face the challenges and opportunities of mobility in the cities of the 21st century.
It is undeniable that science and technology appear as vectors of change that allow to consolidate and expand the use of alternative fuels and renewable energies, offer solutions that modify our mobility patterns and that substantially improve our quality of life, while making it possible to provide existing infrastructures with digital connectivity for a smarter, safer and more inclusive mobility.
Thus, thanks to the experience and knowledge of the speakers, this session will bring up scenarios about the future of mobility, while identifying the most relevant technologies and applications which will make them possible. Additionally, addresses the influence of technology and innovation in developing new infrastructures for sustainable mobility, as well as the generation of new business models.
