New energies on urban mobility

To address specifically those actions in the field of sustainable urban mobility which are based and promote the use of alternative energies, and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

From that perspective, speakers will expose plans, programmes and projects related to the mobility of people and goods using a systematic approach, this is, taking into account energy supply sources, storage, distribution, recharging points, modes of transport, etc. Speakers will also provide an overview of the different energy alternatives and their implications for the mobility, economy, environment, citizens and cities.

Finally, there will be presented examples of how some cities are planning and implementing mobility systems that encourage the use of these new sources of energy supply and what their implementation implies. In this sense, there is also addressed the autonomous vehicles paradigm and its impact on the future of mobility.
