In this session, the strategic role of innovation and the new technologies that make new sustainable urban mobility systems possible will be analysed. In other words, how the introduction of technology in the mobility sector has fostered the transformation of this sector, enabling the development of electric and autonomous mobility, services like MaaS or collaborative ecosystems will be highlighted. All of this is the result of the application of new technologies, such as, for example, blockchain or big data.
Thanks to the knowledge and experience of the speakers, the result of the application of these new technologies in urban mobility systems will be presented, analysing their limitations and their potential to modify and improve the current mobility guidelines in order to achieve more sustainable, smarter, more inclusive and safer mobility.
