In recent years, the urban distribution of goods has increased significantly, with goods transport vehicles extending throughout all cities. In such a context, achieving sustainable mobility systems to face the environmental challenges of the 21st century also requires the transport of goods to be more sustainable.
In this respect, this session will focus on how the mobility of goods is moving towards sustainability and how to combine this with the increase in distribution. Thanks to the knowledge and experience of the speakers in this session, the changes that are taking place in the urban distribution of goods will be analysed, particularly in terms of intermodal logistics chains and last mile distribution.
